Forklift and material-handling tyres

Industrial sizes use several marking systems and can be pneumatic or solid depending on the machine and wheel. Common format examples include 6.00-9, 6.50-10, 7.00-12, 8.15-15, 28x9-15 and 300-15. Send the complete sidewall marking and the tyre construction if you know it.

Wheel loader, grader and earthmover tyres

OTR sizes such as 17.5R25, 20.5R25, 23.5R25, 26.5R25 and 29.5R25 are used across wheel loaders, graders, dumpers and other quarry or earthmoving applications. The same nominal size can still differ by construction and service specification, so the full marking matters.

Skid steer, compact loader and yard equipment

Sizes such as 12-16.5 and 14-17.5 are common examples in compact industrial equipment. Tread design, load capability and the surface where the machine works should be considered together.

Machine model alone is not enough

Heavy-equipment fitment can vary with rim, axle position, machine configuration and the work being done. Confirm the current tyre size from the sidewall, machine specification or rim before ordering rather than relying only on the machine name.

What to send when asking for a machine tyre

  • Exact tyre size and every marking you can read from the sidewall.
  • Machine type and model if available.
  • Quantity required.
  • Pneumatic, solid, radial or bias construction if known.
  • A clear photo of the current tyre sidewall when the marking is difficult to describe.
  • The work environment when relevant, such as warehouse, yard, construction site, quarry or mixed surface.

Thunder Skylight can then check the current suitable options for that requirement.

SIZE-FIRST FOR MACHINES

Search the tyre marking, not just the machine name.

Heavy equipment can use different rims, constructions and service specifications even within the same machine family. Find My Tyre includes industrial and OTR size formats, while final suitability should be confirmed from the current tyre or machine specification.
